Hartlepool VCS Strategic Development Partnership

HOP is Hartlepool's VDA. It is an open and democratic representative body of Hartlepool's voluntary and community sector that works together to steer and develop collective strategy to improve our town.

About HOP

Through an entirely open, transparent and participatory process the sector has come together to:

We are looking forward to building closer, trust based, relationships with all of our communities and with colleagues in all sectors

This is being put into real world practice through the creation of a new Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This group of Trustees, elected from the VCSE open membership, will meet quarterly to support the development of the mission. It will also consider and review the activities of the various Work Strands as they are contributing to and learning about what is working and what more is needed, where the opportunities lie and where connections or gaps need to be addressed.

Are You Part of a Voluntary Sector Organisation?

Our Mission Statement collects up all the ability, capacity, energy and imagination of a large, diverse and dynamic VCSE sector. A sector mobilised to imagine a better future, address the issues Hartlepool is facing and building on its assets; people, communities, organisations, buildings and amazing geography.
